Hudson is an upscale, vibrant, historic city located in Northeastern Summit County.  Established in 1799 it was home to abolitionist, John Brown and played a role in the underground railway network. 


Its museum, visitor center and historic farms provide in-depth insights into how the city evolved.  Its Village Green and many restaurants and shops make it a great place to visit and live.  More than 1,000 acres in Hudson are parkland.  Hudson springs Park had 50-lake open acres for canoes, kayaks and small boats. Other parks include Cascade Park, Barlow Farm and Colony Park.  Wildlife Woods is located on the west side of Hudson in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.


There are many private Schools in Hudson including - Seton Catholic School, Hudson Montessori School, and Western Reserve Academy.  Hudson was the Original home of Case Western Reserve University. Public School District is the Hudson City School District.
